A sold-out What’s Your Next Summit 2026 Gauteng Edition has cemented its place as one of the most impactful faith-based events on South Africa’s 2026 calendar, as Mmuso Worship delivered a powerful fusion of message, music, and ministry at Rhema Bible Church.
Hosted under the theme “Unlikely Candidate,” the summit spoke directly to a generation navigating identity, purpose, and calling. The central message—that divine calling is not reserved for the qualified but for those willing to respond—resonated strongly throughout the day’s programme of teachings, reflection, and prayer.
From Message to Movement
What distinguished the summit was not just its messaging, but its measurable impact. Attendees were challenged to confront internal barriers such as fear, insecurity, and self-doubt, with many responding decisively—some committing to faith for the first time, others rededicating their lives.
This shift from passive engagement to active response underscored the summit’s broader positioning: not merely as an event, but as a catalyst for transformation.
A Seamless Transition Into Worship
As the programme transitioned into the evening, the experience evolved into a high-impact live worship event anchored by the launch of The Holy One (Live at Heartfelt Arena, December 2025). The album, already gaining traction across streaming platforms, extends the summit’s message into a musical format centred on surrender, identity, and spiritual intimacy.
Opening with the breakout single Zion, which is nearing three million streams within two months of release, Mmuso Worship immediately established a dynamic worship atmosphere. This momentum carried into Oluwa, a vibrant praise anthem rooted in Yoruba expression, energising the audience.
Collaboration, Legacy and Depth
The evening’s depth was amplified through collaborative moments featuring leading voices in South African gospel. Xoli Mncwango and Yanga Sobetwa led a moving rendition of You Are The One, drawing the audience into a unified expression of worship. Their performance transitioned into a reflective interpretation of the classic hymn I Need Thee, layered into a medley of familiar worship songs.
A standout highlight came as Janine Price and gospel veteran Benjamin Dube joined the stage. Their performance of Ngiyakuthanda led into a powerful medley by Dube, featuring classics such as No Foreign God, Jehova Is Your Name, and El Shaddai, Adonai. The segment bridged generations, anchoring the experience in legacy, reverence, and spiritual continuity.
A Growing Cultural and Spiritual Footprint
Since its release, The Holy One has steadily gained momentum, resonating with audiences drawn to its authentic live recording and spiritually grounded message. Positioned as both a musical project and a ministry tool, the album extends the live encounter beyond the stage into personal and communal worship spaces.
The evening concluded with a powerful rendition of Jeso O Ntekane, reinforcing the collective energy and spiritual unity that defined the experience.
Beyond Gauteng: Expanding the Movement
The success of the Gauteng edition signals growing national traction for the summit. The movement has already extended to Durban, where the next gathering took place on 3 May 2026, continuing its mission to engage and inspire a broader audience.
As Mmuso Church strengthens its influence within South Africa’s faith ecosystem, What’s Your Next Summit is emerging as a significant platform—where purpose-driven dialogue, spiritual formation, and contemporary worship intersect.
