Johannesburg – South Africa’s most iconic consumer exhibition is raising the bar in 2026, placing value, accessibility and unforgettable experiences firmly at the heart of its offering. The Rand Show is set to return from 2–6 April 2026 at the Johannesburg Expo Centre, Nasrec, promising an action-packed programme – with a host of activities included in the ticket price and a special R50 opening day offer.

True to its legacy, the Rand Show continues to evolve while staying true to its roots: bringing people together through entertainment, innovation and family-friendly fun. This year’s edition is designed to ensure that visitors get maximum value from the moment they step through the gates.

Entertainment Included – No Hidden Costs

Unlike many large-scale events, the Rand Show’s appeal lies in its all-inclusive approach. Visitors can enjoy a wide range of live performances, interactive exhibitions and immersive experiences at no additional cost.

The Rand Show Music Festival once again takes centre stage, featuring a vibrant mix of musicians, dancers and performers delivering continuous entertainment throughout the day. Adding to the spectacle are colourful marching displays that weave through the showgrounds, creating an electric festival atmosphere for all ages.

New Attractions and Immersive Experiences

Fresh activations debut in 2026, bringing added excitement and variety. Visitors can explore the Tech and Gaming Arena, where hands-on digital experiences meet innovation, or stumble upon pop-up performances and surprise activations scattered across the outdoor spaces.

Fashion lovers and trendsetters will be drawn to the Beauty, Fashion, Bridal and Matric Fair, a stylish showcase celebrating creativity, self-expression and lifestyle trends.

Fun for the Whole Family

Families with younger children can head to Hall 8, home of the ever-popular Kids Zone. Known for its immersive themed environments, the Kids Zone has become a highlight of the show. Following the success of 2025’s Ocean Wonders, the 2026 edition promises a brand-new magical world designed to spark imagination and hands-on learning.

Thrill-seekers won’t be disappointed either. Motorsport drifting returns with high-octane demonstrations showcasing skill, speed and precision — all included in the ticket price. Meanwhile, The Big Bounce, a massive rugby-field-sized inflatable adventure, invites both kids and adults to jump in and embrace the fun.

A Show for Everyone

Speaking ahead of the event, Adele Hartdegen, CEO of The Rand Show, emphasised the importance of accessibility and shared experiences.

“The Rand Show has always been about bringing people together and offering something for everyone,” she said. “This year, our focus is firmly on delivering fun, entertainment and accessibility — ensuring families, friends and communities can enjoy a full day of experiences that are included in the ticket price.”
