This exciting event will gather youth innovators, entrepreneurs, and change-makers from over 35 countries, providing a global platform for the next generation of business leaders.

The South African delegation will be composed of two student teams from MiniBoss Johannesburg and two teams from the eagerly anticipated BigBoss Business School, which aims to empower young adult entrepreneurs. These rising stars will compete in a variety of categories, showcasing their innovative ideas:

  • Best Commercial Startup – SIFE Award
  • Best Social Startup – SAGE Award
  • Green Planet for Startups Award – for environmentally focused ventures

This unique contingent features participants from both the MiniBoss Junior League, comprising children aged 6 to 18, and the new BigBoss Senior League for young adults aged 18 and older. “We are proud and excited to see our students showcase their innovative solutions on the global stage,” expressed Ms. Wendy Silinyana, Director and Franchisee of MiniBoss Business School Johannesburg. “We’re confident that they’ll rise to the challenge and make South Africa proud.”

A Global Platform for Future Entrepreneurs

The Startup World Cup Championship serves as a distinguished international competition that aims to nurture innovation and entrepreneurship across all demographics. Participants will first compete in regional qualifying rounds before advancing to the Grand Finale, where the brightest young minds will pitch their startups to global investors, mentors, and policymakers.

This year’s championship holds particular significance as MiniBoss Business School International commemorates its 25th anniversary. With 74 branches worldwide, the institution remains steadfast in its mission to cultivate youth through pioneering entrepreneurship education. The Maldives will also host the annual Global Business Week, bringing together delegates, inventors, and educators for a week of inspiration and networking opportunities.
