This year’s A-Division Football Championship will be one to watch as UP-Tuks play host to the tournament beginning 1 December.
All eyes will be on the home side as they chase a podium finish, with heightened expectations amplified by home-ground advantage.
“Playing at home is always a lot more challenging with added pressure,” says Head of Program Mr Nndwakhulu.

Cricket Squad Geared for Redemption in Stellenbosch
The Tuks Cricket team heads to Stellenbosch to contest against rivals Maties, UWC and Wits.
After winning the title in 2023 but finishing third in 2024, the team is eager to return to the summit.
Their opening fixture against UWC will set the tone for a charged campaign, fuelled by months of structured training and tactical refinement.

Beyond football and cricket, TuksTennis teams will battle it out at the University of the Free State, while Wits University plays host to Basketball and Chess, among other sporting disciplines.
