Government has unveiled a comprehensive national intervention aimed at reinforcing compliance with labour legislation through the deployment of 10,000 labour inspectors across the country. The initiative represents a significant expansion of the state’s enforcement capacity and signals a renewed commitment to safeguarding workers’ rights and promoting decent work.
The expanded inspectorate is intended to address persistent structural gaps in labour-law enforcement, particularly in sectors historically associated with high levels of non-compliance.
