JOHANNESBURG – Following a string of sold-out performances and overwhelming audience demand, The Luyanda Madope Trio is set to return to Die Pienk Kerk in Melville on Saturday, 6 June 2026, for what promises to be another captivating night of world-class contemporary jazz.

Renowned for their seamless blend of technical excellence, soulful expression and compelling musical storytelling, the trio has become one of Johannesburg’s most sought-after live jazz acts. Their previous appearances at the iconic venue attracted full houses and enthusiastic acclaim, cementing their reputation as a must-see live experience for jazz lovers.

Led by acclaimed pianist, vocalist and composer Luyanda Madope, the ensemble continues to push the boundaries of contemporary African jazz while remaining deeply rooted in the rich traditions of the genre.
