18 February 2026 – The 2025/26 Betway Premiership season continues to prove that the magic of matchday extends well beyond the final whistle. This past weekend, two more passionate supporters saw their loyalty rewarded as Betway crowned its fifth and sixth S’bonise & Win Dial Up winners in Polokwane and East London.
With R50 000 cheques changing hands and life-changing stories emerging from the stands, the campaign once again demonstrated how football can transform lives off the pitch.

Polokwane Delight: R50 000 and a Brother’s Hope
Friday night at Seshego Stadium delivered more than just football action as Magesi FC faced off against Golden Arrows. Amid the electric atmosphere, Robert Mashia was announced as the fifth Dial Up winner of the season.
As an active Betway account holder, Mashia qualified for the enhanced Dial Up prize and walked away with R50 000. The cheque presentation, conducted by Betway Squad member Oupa Manyisa, capped off an already unforgettable evening.
Yet it was Mashia’s heartfelt revelation that truly resonated. He shared that part of his winnings would go towards purchasing a new prosthetic leg for his younger brother, who has outgrown his current one. In that moment, the S’bonise & Win initiative transcended promotion and prize money—it became a vehicle for tangible impact.

East London Celebrates Another Life-Changing Moment
The celebrations continued on Saturday at Buffalo City Stadium, where Chippa United hosted Richards Bay FC.
Khayalethu Thu emerged as the sixth Dial Up winner of the season, also securing R50 000 as a qualifying active Betway account holder. The cheque was presented by Betway Squad member Lebohang Mokoena, marking yet another powerful moment in front of jubilant supporters.
For Thu, the win carries profound personal significance. He revealed that the prize money will be used to settle his children’s school fees—an investment not only in education, but in opportunity and stability for his family.
Raising the Stakes: The Dial Up Difference
The S’bonise & Win campaign has become a defining feature of the Betway Premiership matchday experience. While regular fixtures reward supporters who arrive in full club regalia, Dial Up matches significantly elevate the stakes—offering qualifying fans the chance to win up to R50 000.
With six Dial Up fixtures now completed and 90 winners crowned through the broader campaign this season, the initiative continues to embed supporters at the centre of South African football’s narrative.
The spotlight now shifts to the highly anticipated Soweto Derby on 28 February, which will serve as the seventh Dial Up fixture of the campaign. As one of the most iconic clashes in local football, the Derby promises not only intense on-field rivalry but another opportunity for life-changing rewards in the stands.
Football That Gives Back
Beyond entertainment, Betway’s S’bonise & Win campaign underscores a broader philosophy: recognising and rewarding the passion that fuels the game. In Polokwane and East London, that philosophy materialised in meaningful ways—supporters walked away not only with prize money, but with renewed hope and possibility.
As the season progresses and 10 more Dial Up fixtures remain, anticipation continues to build. If the latest matchdays are anything to go by, the next unforgettable moment could be just a kick-off away.
