SOUTH AFRICA — 10 September 2026 — South Africa’s summer is about to get considerably hotter, with global dancehall superstar Sean Paul confirmed to headline a three-city South African tour this December.
The Grammy Award-winning Jamaican hitmaker will bring his high-energy live show to Cape Town, Pretoria and Durban, giving fans across the country the chance to experience more than three decades of dancehall anthems, international collaborations and chart-topping hits.
The tour kicks off at Grand Arena, GrandWest in Cape Town on Thursday, 3 December, before moving to SunBet Arena at Time Square in Pretoria on Friday, 4 December.
Sean Paul will then close the three-city run at the Durban ICC on Sunday, 6 December.
A soundtrack to generations
Few artists have had Sean Paul’s longevity or influence on global dance music.
From his breakthrough years in Jamaica’s dancehall scene to becoming an international superstar, he has built a catalogue that has crossed borders, genres and generations.

Tickets start at R750 and are being sold exclusively through Blu Blood Tickets.
With only three South African performances confirmed, fans are being encouraged to secure tickets early.
Children under three will not be permitted, while those under 12 will not be allowed into the Golden Circle or General Standing areas.
A dancehall legacy that keeps moving
Sean Paul’s enduring appeal lies in his ability to remain relevant while retaining the sound and energy that established him as one of dancehall’s biggest global ambassadors.

The tour is presented by Blu Blood and Fire Water Earth Productions, in association with Spring Water SA, with KFM, 947 and East Coast Radio serving as official broadcast partners in Cape Town, Pretoria and Durban respectively.
